Desiccant Inserting Machine

 

Automatic desiccant inserting machine is designed to insert desiccant packets into pharmaceutical or other packaging to control moisture and maintain product integrity.

 

1.The machine usually starts with a roll of desiccant packets.
2.The continuous roll is fed into the machine where individual desiccant packets are cut for separation.
3.Optical or mechanical sensors detect the position of each desiccant to ensure accurate cutting and insertion.
4.A cutting mechanism, such as a rotary cutter or blade, precisely separates individual desiccant from the roll.
5.The separated desiccant are conveyed via belts or guides to the insertion point.
6.This can be directly into bottles, boxes, or any other container being used. In some systems, guiding chutes help direct the desiccant into the bottles accurately.

The desiccant inserting machine is mainly used to cut the desiccant into bags and put them into the bottles accurately.

A.The machine is typically controlled by a PLC which coordinates all the operations, ensuring precise timing and synchronization with the packaging line. Operators can interact with the machine via an HMI to set parameters, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues.

B.Sensors inspect the insertion process to ensure that each package contains a desiccant packet. If a packet is missing or incorrectly inserted, the system can alert operators or reject the package. Faulty packages can be automatically removed from the production line.

C.Physical guards protect operators from moving parts. An emergency stop button immediately halts the machine in case of any issues.
